This is more personal project and receives great support from the public, currently we are getting 365 Love Boxes packed, that is 365 children that receives a Love Box each term.

What does a Lovebox consist of?
Each box has a form stuck inside the lid with the child’s info (Name, Age, Birthday, House, Clothing & shoe sizes. What their favourite snacks are, favourite colour & also what they like to do in their spare time (hobbies)

Once a Term there’s a specific needs list that gets sent to the children asking what items they need. For example, Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Bodywash, Pads etc. Each term is a bit different, sometimes we ask them if they need summer clothes, winter clothes, shoes etc. And we always add some snack options they’d like (Because what child does not like some sweetie’s surprises)

Each Lovebox packer then pack this box according to their own budget & what they can afford.
Credo has a few different drop-off/pick up points across town (Bloemfontein) to assist the packers to make their collection/delivery a bit easier.

There’s a Lovebox WhatsApp Group where the needed dates for deliveries/collection & other important info are given each term. This group only admins can send messages on.
We are urge all packers to at least try & commit to 1 full year to pack a box for a child. That is 4x Love Boxes during the year.

How many children's Love Boxes will you be committing to?

Be a part of this great initiative and assist in looking after a child with his/her basic needs & a little bit of spoils.

For how long are you planning to commit your generocity?

Love Boxes are handed out on a quarterly basis. A child’s disappointment is heart-breaking when a lovebox sponsor suddenly decide to stop, however we do understand life circumstances may change.

But having people commit for a full year makes it easier for us to ensure each child is being cared for throughout the year. Every 3 months we collect the boxes from the children’s homes and distribute it to our various drop-off points over the city. It’s beneficial to for yourself, us and especially the child if the same sponsor stays involved with that child.

Some packers share a box with a friend to cut down on the costs.

We recommend no less than 1 year (4 boxes).

1 year (4 boxes per child)

9 months (3 boxes per child)

6 months (2 boxes per child)
