Project: Daily bread

With this project Credo aims to delivery fresh bread to 12 of the children homes each week. Credo managed to get a good deal from Sasko to get fresh bread each week and also for every 15 Breads bought we get 1 Free.

Bread is a luxury to most children homes, so when they do get this, it’s much appreciated. This helps the houses a lot when packing lunchboxes for the children.

Bread a gift from God: when Moses fed his people in the desert with food which fell from heaven, and during the last supper, when bread became the body of Christ. When Jesus multiplied the bread to feed the crowd, bread became a sign of sharing. It also symbolised the Word of God which nourished the crowds.
